Science Teacher
Jasmine Caleb is a passionate and caring educator who believes science is in everything. It was this belief that leads her to a career as a scientist and then a science educator. She instills in her students the passion for question the world around them and the confidence to find answers and create solutions. Jasmine earned a Bachelor's degree in Biology and Chemistry from Johnson C. Smith University, a Masters Degree in Science Education from Pace University, and a Masters Degree in Educational Administration from Mercy College. Before becoming an educator, she worked at Carolinas Medical Center (CMC Hospital), where she conducted numerous clinical trials. She joined the Village Academy Family as a science teacher in 2012-2013 to ensure every student realizes their unlimited potential. She loves anything to do with nature in her spare time and is an adrenaline seeker who loves everything from horseback riding to rollerblading to cliff diving.
