Mrs.Gomez aka Mrs.Tecxidor has been teaching at Village Academy for six years. She is a Humanities/Strategic reading teacher and the grade she teaches changes every year. She was the model teacher for school year 2019-2020 and 2020-2021.She graduated from Touro college with a masters degree in Literacy. She is fair but strict and loving but firm. She will always put her students first above all and deeply enjoys what she does for a living. Her greatest honor is when she gets to watch her students graduate at the end of the year. She is happily married and has a beautiful son named Sebastian. She LOVES pizza and her favorite color is Peach. Her favorite quote is “Knowledge is power and determination is key” because with knowledge no one can stop you and if you are determined nothing can get in the way of your dreams.
