

Warren Hollingsworth
Humanities Teacher
Warren Hollingsworth is a born and raised New Yorker and a son of West Indian immigrant parents. Mr. Hollingsworth earned his Occupational Therapy Assistant Associate's degree at Laguardia Community College, Bachelor's degree in Psychology at CUNY York College, and his Master’s degree in Education at CUNY Brooklyn Graduate School of Education. He was inspired to become a teacher in order to change the lives of children in underserved communities. He has worked as a paraprofessional for the DOE for 3 years before joining the NYC Teaching Fellows and is currently working as a DOE special education teacher in his 2nd year at Village Academy. Mr. Hollingsworth has been recognized for his ability to create meaningful relationships with students and parents while pushing student achievement.
