Austin Wolfson has been teaching 7th grade Math at Village Academy for 7 years. Mr. Wolfson earned a Bachelor's degree in Physical Education and a Dual Masters Degree in Special Education and Childhood Education from Long Island University. Before joining the Village Academy family,, Mr. Wolfson was a teacher assistant at Oceanside  Middle School in Oceanside, NY. He has also worked as a  football, wrestling, lacrosse, basketball, soccer and softball coach  in various long island school districts since 2010. His main goal as an educator is to close the achievement gap in students that are most at risk and far below grade level.   In his free time, Mr. Wolfson enjoys walking his dog (Abby) several times a day, working out, snowboarding and spending time at the beach during the summer.
